The lawn is a stage for one night. We build for that night.
Customized Lawn Signs makes celebration yard displays in bulk — birthday kits, yard letter sets, flamingo flocks, stork signs, graduation runs and complete yard-greeting rental fleets.

A celebration lawn display is one of the odder products in print: installed by flashlight on a stranger’s lawn at ten at night, photographed at breakfast, and gone before lunch.
It is not signage — nobody reads it from a moving car, and it is not decor — it does not stay. It is a staged event made of coroplast, and the businesses that rent them out run real fleets with real economics.
We build for the night, the fleet and the maths.
Why we exist
Display orders fail in the dark: kits that arrive as loose piles, stakes that bend on the second planting, letters that fade mid-season and can only be replaced by the alphabet, and suppliers who think a display is just a funny yard sign.
Every one of those is a specification failure, decided before shipping — which is where we do our work.
A kit, not a pile
A birthday display is thirty-plus pieces planted as a layout by one person with a flashlight. So the kit is the product: a layout card with the arc and spacing, stakes counted and bagged per piece, and everything packed in planting order.
Twenty dark minutes per install is the standard we build to, because that number is a rental business’s entire margin.
Fleet economics, quoted honestly
Yard-greeting businesses rent the same pieces fifty nights a season. So we quote durability in NIGHTS — UV-stable print, re-planting-grade steel stakes, washable surfaces — and we put payback maths on fleet quotes.
Restocks are singles in your held font with no setup fee, because letter attrition is uneven and the E dies first. A fleet should replace a letter, never an alphabet.
The sidewalk rule
A roadside yard sign is read in two seconds from a car and must say almost nothing. A celebration display is read from the sidewalk at walking pace — which is why it can carry a name in script, thirty pieces of flair, and detail no roadside sign could risk.
When a customer’s job is actually the roadside one, we say so plainly and point them at a yard sign instead. Different audience, different product, different supplier page.
Numbers belong here
The big birthday 4, the two zeros of a fortieth, the graduation year — milestone numbers are the centrepiece of this product, writ huge and kerb-readable.
Our only numbers rule is about prices: there are none on any display, ever.
Original characters only
Flocks, critters and theme characters are drawn as playful originals. We do not print anyone’s film or cartoon characters, full stop.
A borrowed character on a rental fleet is a studio letter waiting to happen, and a fleet that is legal is a fleet that keeps booking.
How we price
No dollar figures on this site. Price moves with piece count, build grade, personalisation and quantity, and it falls steeply for fleets and school runs. Send the details and a real quote comes back the same day, with a lowest-price guarantee if you are already holding a cheaper one.
What we will talk you out of
A display for a roadside job. Wire stakes for a rental fleet. Rebuying alphabets to replace vowels. Licensed cartoon characters. And a May graduation order placed in May.
Every one of those costs us money to say and saves you a failed night.
